Son p\u00e8re, Hank &#8211; un ancien membre de la Police militaire &#8211; et sa m\u00e8re Joan se lancent \u00e0 sa recherche avec le concours d&rsquo;Emily Sanders, officier de police de la juridiction du Nouveau-Mexique o\u00f9 Mike a \u00e9t\u00e9 aper\u00e7u pour la derni\u00e8re fois. Face au silence et \u00e0 l&rsquo;hostilit\u00e9 croissante des autorit\u00e9s militaires, Hank et Emily soup\u00e7onnent bient\u00f4t un coup fourr\u00e9. Les indices troublants s&rsquo;accumulent, et la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 sur le s\u00e9jour en Irak de Deerfield finit par \u00e9clater, bouleversant \u00e0 jamais la vie de Hank et ses croyances&#8230;<\/p>\n<h1>Critique:<\/h1>\n<p>J&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert ce film r\u00e9cemment et je dois avouer qu&rsquo;il m\u2019a bien marqu\u00e9.\u00a0Paul Haggis nous livre ici une \u0153uvre remplie d&rsquo;\u00e9motions, mais visuellement tr\u00e8s calme, \u00e0 l&rsquo;image des jeunes soldats lav\u00e9s du cerveau ou devenus \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 fous suite au conflit irakien. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.fr\/s\/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;camp=1642&amp;creative=19458&amp;field-keywords=dans%20la%20vall%C3%A9e%20d%27elah&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Adans%20la%20vall%C3%A9e%20d%27elah&amp;tag=inrepublica-21&amp;url=search-alias%3Daps\" target=\"_blank\">In The Valley of Elah<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"jvezevkmcsdkdyapsamt rcihkygpjevzezuxkpli rzjxbohoeywhcvppcwdh elhacbnvpjnkhcvtbbyv\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.fr\/e\/ir?t=inrepublica-21&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=8\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/> est donc une charge ma\u00eetris\u00e9e et froide sur la forme, mais forte sur le fond, critiquant l&rsquo;engagement en Irak et les m\u00e9thodes militaires. En plus le film est remarquablement\u00a0interpr\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0par Tommy Lee Jones en p\u00e8re d\u00e9chir\u00e9 et une Charlize Theron dans un r\u00f4le assez profond pour une fois.
